Ivor Bolton to appear at the Mozart Woche festival 2011

In addition to concerts in Hamburg and Kiel, Ivor Bolton is making two appearances at the Mozart Woche in Salzburg this January. Ivor will appear as the conductor of the Concertus Musicus in the opening concert of the Mozart Woche on 21st January, in a programme of works by Handel and Mozart. Salzburg reveals all…

The programme for the 2011 Salzburg Festival has been revealed and Ivor has a considerable involvement. This year's world famous festival, established in 1920, runs from 27th June - 30th August 2011. He has concert performances of a double bill of Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta, with Anna Netrebko and Piotr Beczala on both Monday 15th August and Saturday 20th August. Ivor Bolton tours the UK with the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg
