Bruckner Cycle in Basel
Last week Ivor Bolton finished his series of Lucio Silla performances at the Teatro Real Madrid. The production has been recorded and will soon be available on DVD. On Sunday evening Ivor celebrated major success with Rossini's Stabat Mater in Toledo. An overwhelming experience! This week he is returning to "his" Basel Symphony Orchestra, opening the second round of the Bruckner cycle:
